Behaviour

“To enable owners to live happily with their pets.

Saying everything about the psychology of the dog is an impossible challenge. The dog is polymorphic (which is subject to change, offering different shapes) both in its morphology and in its behaviour; the dog is also “versatile”: it can do so many different things.

If I can’t explain everything about the psychology of the dog, I can, on the other hand, explain the essential. The aim of the sessions is to unravel the mysteries of our dog friends, to help you understand, manage and if necessary, change some of these behaviours. To allow you to know your dog better, to become aware of his potential, in order to better communicate with him.

What is a behaviourist?

The behaviourist is specialized in the human/dog relationship and acts as a mediator between humans and their animals. I intervene when the relationship becomes complicated following the appearance of problems, such as uncleanliness, destruction, aggressive behaviour, untimely barking, fears. I can also intervene before a big event such as the arrival of a fellow human being, a baby or a move.

Thanks to a consultation at home, I analyze the situation and help you understand why your pet is acting in a way that may seem unsuitable to you, taking into account every element of your environment and suggesting various changes to be implemented, depending on your situation. I will give you the key to better communicate with your dog so that the cohabitation is calmed in a serene climate.

A dog educational accompanying is also possible: learning to walk on a leash, getting used to handling, socializing with other dogs, dressed in the city, welcoming guests… Dog education can be a complement if it is conducted in a positive way, by adopting a gentle method based on reward (positive method) and complicity between the owner and the dog. It will then be possible to obtain the cooperation of your dog (without using violent methods, authority etc…).

Canine education is complementary to the activity of a behaviourist, it allows you to manage various situations, to integrate the dog into society, to understand the learning processes involved, to give your dog the opportunity to learn while maintaining a relationship of complicity between you”.
